so i'm trying to learn some html so these posts maybe look more creative. rob reed has given me some tips for that. he says he'll keep giving me more so hopefully i can use them.

well yesterday wasn't the best day. thursday night i stayed out very late and only got about 3 hours of sleep for friday. i had equine again but my senior basically ignored me so i was told by a different senior to go look for someone else to follow. instead i went home and took a nap. i know it's a little premature to decide but i don't think i'm into large animal. after this week i wouldn't discount exotics, i had fun there, but i didn't enjoy my time in equine.

then in the afternoon we got our bone boxes for our lab test next friday on the dog anatomy. we have to know every nook and cranny of each bone and where certain muscles attach. it's hard enough just to figure out which bone is left or right, the difference between caudal/cranial, lateral/medial, dorsal/ventral, proximal/distal, etc. i guess i'll be in the lab studying this weekend.

so i went last night to rusty's. there are a bunch of different parts of rusty's all with there own name. rusty's last chance , next door, etc. wasn't as much fun last night. most people just sit around talking and drinking. i usually go out w/ my roommate and then hang out w/ his friends but they don't all talk to me. phil is really cool. he's from the dc area. he's 3 days older than me and we have the same last name so we say we're related. we get along really well. the people here are definitely different. lots of good looking guys and girls, blond hair, tall, etc. phil's east coast and therefore shorter than me:0) lots of vet school gossip!!!! i couldn't stress this enough. it really sucks. i guess you just have to get used to it. it's weird for me cause i'm the new girl, jonathan's new roommate, and all his friends ask if we're dating i guess cause i'm a girl who's not so nasty and they want something to talk about.

thursday night i met a girl who lives in charlestown so i told her if she sees someone walking a dalmatian that that's my billy. so jenn or rob if some girl ever says anything weird like that you'll understand.

i better go shower and study or something before the day is over. it's really strange not having a job. fat girl double clap

QUOTES

It's better to burp and bear the shame than not to burp and bear the pain.

Grandpa Martin, RIP

Keep your wits about you.

Dr. Wally Cash, DVM

If the present sucks, then look to the future.

RobReed, BadBoy

Well, I want to try everything in life.

Heather Rose Martin, CFG (crazy freak girl)

In the book of life there's only two women, big ol' good ones and good ol' big ones.

Ice Cube, HipHopper

I'd rather have a terrorist standing next to me than a Frenchman. (~15 min. later) Oh, I forgot about that, that's another reason I don't like the French, they eat horses.

Dr. Dee Griffin, DVM

Think about it. Sometimes people are just destined, destined to do, what they do. And that's what it is. Now everybody dance.

Justin Timberlake, Hottie!

Even in medicine, though it is easy to know what honey, wine and hellebore, cautery and surgery are, to know how and to whom and when to apply them so as to effect a cure is no less an undertaking than to be a [veterinarian].

Aristotle, 384-322 BC

Going to Kansas for Vet School is like going to the Special Olympics to play chess.

RobReed, BoyGenius

Now you can either stand around here eatin' jambalaya or you can come upstairs and eat my ass!

Brian Kinney, QAF Hottie!

This isn't an ad. Amazon.com has a lot of stuff and if you're buying retail chances are they have what you're looking for at a price comparable to or lower than what you'll pay somewhere else. I'll use this space to link to products at Amazon.com that I talk about in my posts or things that are significant to me for some reason. I hope you find all of this useful. By the way, if you purchase through my site I get a little kick back. Thanks!
