came home for lunch. nothing too exciting.
went back for 3 hours of microanatomy review lab for our test friday. everyone's freaking out about this test as usual.
we got our physiology test back from a couple fridays back. i got 7 points off and we think it's out of 91 points so that would be just over 92%. not bad but i needed a really good grade since i screwed up the mini-physiology exam this week.
after lab i had to go to a vet med library computer orientation. they just show you the databases you can use for journal searches. we had to do a pubmed search to see how it works so i did a search for 'hynynen and h martin' which found the rabbit brain apoptosis paper.
then i went back to the lab and looked at microscope slides for a couple hours reviewing for the exam.
then i went to the emergency medicine club meeting. we got free food again: subs and soda. also we went over an emergency case about a dog w/ bladder stones.
came home, talked to randy on the phone, then went running for 34 min. short and sweet but i don't have lots of time to spend. then i lifted arms and stomach, showered and ate some snacky stuff while i read some micro. i just finished the cytology section and now i'm just typing and watching 'primal fear' on hbo. i should go to bed but i'll probably stay up until 1:30am.
i saw a trailer today for tuck everlasting. i'm very curious to see this movie cause it's my favorite book. it comes out oct 11th so i'll have to go see it w/ the boy. he's supposed to come visit oct 17th. i gave him the book last valentine's day.
i got the latest issue of runner's world the other day; the one w/ george w on the cover. i always look to the racing report to see if jen rhines appears. jen rhines went to high school w/ me and ran on my team. she now runs for a living and went to the sydney olympics for the 10,000m. every now and then she appears in this section for placing top 3 in a race the magazine is posting results for. well this issue there's a nice sized photo of her winning her first 10,000m title at the outdoor championships.
good night
