i just spoke with my mom on the phone. she's in france. i think she said marseille, she mentioned lots of places. she's getting around. i'm jealous of her being there too. she knows way less french than me and she's gettting by just fine. they ended up at this restaurant off the beaten path the other day cause they were famished and had a nice meal; literally the road ended and my mom decided to walk up a ways. later the caretaker where they were staying said it's very hard to get a reservation there and you have to wait a long time. somehow they got lucky.
update on my test grades. the gross anatomy test i stayed up all night studying for cause i put off studying all week: the lecture i got an 83, average was about 84. on the lab 70, average 82. i'm glad to pass since i really thought i wouldn't but that brings my high A down to a B. this week i had a physiology test and again i put off studying til the night before. i'm pretty sure i passed but no A. i'll have to get back on track.
now i'm sick. not enough sleep, lots of stress, maybe too much candy, yankees losing,...i have a runny nose, aches, sore throat.

I love giraffes! I wish I had a pet giraffe and I would name it Mr. Giraffe. One time I had a pet elephant and his name was Loyal. I sent him a letter in The Jungle when I was in undergrad but I don't think it made it there. Loyal was cool! There's nothing better than playing with doggie and kittie poop in Parasitology, except maybe looking at all the dead stuff in necropsy. |
