hello everybody.

i'm going to bed soon maybe which is cool cause it's only 10:30p right now. i spent most of the day and night working on my physiology presentation cause i'm meeting my group tomorrow to go over it. i have 10 slides for 10 min. i haven't talked it through yet so i don't know how long it'll take me. hopefully it's good enough.

i was just talking to rob reed for almost an hour. now it's getting late. always fun talking to rob reed though.

going to bed.

long time no post it seems. sometimes i just lack the motivation, you know.

well to update everyone, i had a gross lecture test this past friday. stayed up all night thursday without any sleep to study and it was well worth it as i think i got an A from looking at the answer key. very cool since i now have a B again in that class. not cool cause maybe if i studied as much as i'm supposed to, i'd have all As.

the coolest thing about this post is that i'm doing it from the comfort of my warm, mostly clean bed. i got an airport card from rob reed and jenn for my birthday that i just installed along w/ the base station so now i'm wireless. no stringing ethernet cable all through the house to trip everybody up. wasn't cheap though, $400 for both. but as i've learned from rob reed, it's always worth spending money on technology.

so after staying up all thursday, after my exam i had to go to the library to work on my physiology project. one of my lab partners, mike, was there and he tried to help me. problem is my part of our topic is very new and hard to find general material.

went home later and hung out doing stuff and took a little nap but nothing big. went to the rec and did a tempo run of 6 miles at 7.5mph plus a warmup and warmdown. going well just need to work on adding distance to my weekend long run.

after showering i went to a party w/ jonathan. before we went i had some malibu and diet soda and then at the party 3-4 glasses of beer and i didn't feel too bad but then when we got home and i wasn't tired so i stayed up listening to music and dancing and also finished off my malibu. soon after that i was feeling pretty sick. i remember talking to jonathan while he was in bed and then just leaving cause i had to puke. i puked in the toilet, not too bad cause i hadn't eaten much that day. i also puked in the kitchen sink after having some chocolate soy milk. so then i was back talking to jonathan but soon i was in the bathroom puking again and then i just went straight to my room and collasped on the bed. i was nicely awakened by jonathan this morning and he informed me that i had puked on my bed during the night. so i looked over and saw this big wet spot with brown stuff but at first i thought it was dirt from the dogs. turns out though it was puke. one other time i puked all night in my sleep according to rob reed who was holding a bucket under my head all night. remember that rob reed? and how you pulled the car over to let me puke on the way home and the cop stopped to see what was happening? anyway i didn't have a bucket holder this time. luckily i didn't choke on my own puke and die as randy said. so that is gross. i washed my sheets and even my pillow but can't do much for my mattress and down comforter. i hope they don't smell.

i spent most of today being sick and bored. i had to meet my lab partners at noon to go over our project but we each still have to come up w/ our slides. i still have to read my articles and then do the slides. i'll get that all done tomorrow i hope. my lab partner, mike, was nice and gave me a ride home since i didn't have my bike cause jonathan was nice and gave me a ride to the school. thank someone for the nice boys!

i should have accomplished more today but i felt really yucky and tired. spent lots of time cuddling w/ cleo on the couch. watched some tv, talked on the phone, sent emails, did laundry, blah blah blah.

off to bed. goodnight

It's better to burp and bear the shame than not to burp and bear the pain.

Grandpa Martin, RIP

Well, I want to try everything in life.

Heather Rose Martin, CFG (crazy freak girl)

In the book of life there's only two women, big ol' good ones and good ol' big ones.

Ice Cube, HipHopper

I'd rather have a terrorist standing next to me than a Frenchman. (~15 min. later) Oh, I forgot about that, that's another reason I don't like the French, they eat horses.

Dr. Dee Griffin, DVM

Think about it. Sometimes people are just destined, destined to do, what they do. And that's what it is. Now everybody dance.

Justin Timberlake, Hottie!

Even in medicine, though it is easy to know what honey, wine and hellebore, cautery and surgery are, to know how and to whom and when to apply them so as to effect a cure is no less an undertaking than to be a [veterinarian].

Aristotle, 384-322 BC

Going to Kansas for Vet School is like going to the Special Olympics to play chess.

RobReed, BoyGenius

Now you can either stand around here eatin' jambalaya or you can come upstairs and eat my ass!
