hello everyone. it's 1:03a on friday. this is my thursday post though, just haven't gone to bed yet.

was supposed to go running this morning w/ my mom and crew but my mom didn't feel like it so we didn't. i woke up around 7a-something and checked email, etc. my brother came home from work and then i feel back to sleep. my mom woke me around noon and we went running outside around town and syracuse university. we did about 7.5 miles w/ snow and hills.

it turned out to be the second snowiest christmas in syracuse. the most was in 1978 but i was only 4 years old so don't remember that. i do remember lots of xmas eves where we weren't sure if we'd make it home from grandma's cause the weather was so bad but last night didn't seem to compare to that. i don't know what the difference was.

after running we showered and then went to shoppingtown mall. the huge mall in syracuse is the carousel mall but that would just be too crazy so we didn't go there. i bought a pair of saucony running sneaks cause right now i only have a trail pair. they were only $50. then i got something for randy for xmas but i can't say what. then i got two different kinds of jewelry cleaner, one for normal stuff and one for more sensitive stuff like opals and pearls for my ring. then i got my ring sized. it was a size 7 and i got it reduced to a 6. so if my future husband is out there reading this, remember, i'm a size 6 when shopping for my rock and i want a platinum band and not too big a diamond but around a carat is good and just a plain and simple single round diamond is good. 2 months salary or $3500, whatever is more. haha!!

i also bought a pair of pink shoes since they were only $15 and my favorite color, if you don't already know, is pink. i got a waterproof mattress pad so it should be resistant to any more vomit episodes i have in my sleep or the weird dog fluids i occasionally find. i think that's about it.

my mom and i ate at tgi friday's where we had wasabi tuna sandwiches and a very tall beer. i also had a diet coke and our sandwich came w/ some greens w/ dressing but i didn't eat them all. then my dad had called inviting me to dinner at the spaghetti warehouse for some dinner theater thing so even though i felt really full i went anyway. free food and my dad all in one night!! my brother went too and my dad's girlfriend glenda and her son john and his fiancee jamie.

there i had some salad, bread and butter, spaghetti and meatballs, ice cream and diet coke. man was i full.

we were there 3 hours while this acting company put on this mystery dinner theater where we had to figure out who murdered 'smiles thirdly.' they also incorporated 2 people from each table to say lines. they picked glenda and john from my table. then in act 2 'nick saint, detective' picked my dad to play jim 'the hammer' shapiro, this creepy lawyer with awful television commercials and my dad messed up. first he missed his cue and then instead of saying S.O.B., like in the commercials, he said son of a bitch. also he didn't use the right inflection and the joke didn't go over too well. it was funny though cause my dad is so crazy.

now i'm home just writing this before bed. i should be sleeping cause my mom will wake me up soon to go visit dedra for a run and then a swim at the y and then we'll take grandma out to lunch.

that'll all tire me out especially if i only get 6 hours of sleep or so; i better go.

goodnight everybody!!!

QUOTES

It's better to burp and bear the shame than not to burp and bear the pain.

Grandpa Martin, RIP

Keep your wits about you.

Dr. Wally Cash, DVM

If the present sucks, then look to the future.

RobReed, BadBoy

Well, I want to try everything in life.

Heather Rose Martin, CFG (crazy freak girl)

In the book of life there's only two women, big ol' good ones and good ol' big ones.

Ice Cube, HipHopper

I'd rather have a terrorist standing next to me than a Frenchman. (~15 min. later) Oh, I forgot about that, that's another reason I don't like the French, they eat horses.

Dr. Dee Griffin, DVM

Think about it. Sometimes people are just destined, destined to do, what they do. And that's what it is. Now everybody dance.

Justin Timberlake, Hottie!

Even in medicine, though it is easy to know what honey, wine and hellebore, cautery and surgery are, to know how and to whom and when to apply them so as to effect a cure is no less an undertaking than to be a [veterinarian].

Aristotle, 384-322 BC

Going to Kansas for Vet School is like going to the Special Olympics to play chess.

RobReed, BoyGenius

Now you can either stand around here eatin' jambalaya or you can come upstairs and eat my ass!

Brian Kinney, QAF Hottie!
