hello everybody. something's wrong w/ me. i just don't feel right. i feel i have no energy and am not sure why. haven't been able to run much the past couple weeks even though i should be getting in some high mileage only a month away from marathon day. i've been sleeping as much as usual so i don't know why i feel so drained. yesterday i had the worst headache and couldn't do much of anything except lay on the couch. i've been candy and soda free now for 3 days. i feel like a whale so i'm hoping this will help me feel better. jonathan and i went to the grocery tonite and i bought a bunch of stuff: bagels, fig newtons, raisins, chocolate soymilk, reduced fat crackers and graham crackers, fatfree butter, blah, blah, blah...i really need to go running. i did 8 miles saturday night but that was it all last week. i'm going to try and go at 10p tonite until close which is midnight. i should get in at least 8 maybe 10-12 depending on how i feel.

tonite was the premiere of 'my big fat greek life." did anyone watch it? i didn't. i saw the movie twice. the first time so so long ago w/ randy in boston before it was released cause he was in a shluppy-yuppy hoity toity moive club. i thought it was really funny but nothing to think twice about. the second time i saw it was recently. they showed it at the student union for like $1 and jonathan had never seen it. i can't believe how popular it became and now there's a series w/ the same people except for the best guy of course, the hot guy ian. just seems so silly to make a series. won't people get sick of this family?

maybe someone can help me. i'm very stressed out about getting to syracuse for the summer and this leadership program. if it was just me flying it wouldn't be so bad. just the usual shuttle for a couple hours to the airport and then flying home. it's actually much cheaper to fly to albany so then it'd be another 2.5 hours to syracuse. i only have a medium size suitcase so that wouldn't hold enough stuff for three months so i'd need to get more luggage or something and then there's the question 'should i bring my bike or not?' that costs $160 round trip to fly and i'm not sure if i have to buy a bike box or if the airline provides one. i wanted to race this summer like usual but now i've heard from the leadership program that my 10 weeks with them is pretty booked so i don't know if i'll even have weekends to race. anyway that's another story. the big problem is cleo. if i want to fly her w/ me it's $173 one way. plus it's kinda a pain in the summer cause they won't fly her if anyplace will be 85 degrees or higher. it's not such an issue going to syracuse but going to kansas in august might be. if it's too hot then they just have to wait til it's cooler so i don't know what that means for me. my program ends on friday august 8th and i have to be back in kansas to go to nebraska for a week on the 11th so i don't have time to be laid over anywhere. even if the weather doesn't cause trouble it's still $340 to fly her and the pain of getting her to the airport with me. will the airport shuttle take her for 2 hours? i assume not. will jonathan drive us? can't assume that. then there's renting a car so i can bring the dog and my bike and all my stuff for the summer but that's over $400 one way. they charge you a fortune if you go one way plus it's halfway across the country. so even w/ my flight being $220, $75 for shuttle, $340 for cleo (shuttle?), $160 for my bike it still seems cheaper to fly but again it'll got a fortune. i looked into amtrak but dogs aren't allowed. makes me want to buy a car. i might need one next year anyway. then i won't have to worry. just drive everything home and then i'll have one for next year. any suggestions?

next problem. i was assuming i had to pay rent while i was gone for the summer. that is true but jonathan said if i wanted to get out of the lease early he'd let me but i just have to tell him now so he can find people for may. then i'd have to put my stuff in storage for the summer which would be much cheaper than paying rent for a few months. i'd then have to find a new place to move into in august that'll also take a dog. plus like i said my program ends friday and i have to be in nebraska monday so i'd be flying back saturday and have to pick up my stuff from storage and move all in right away. it'd be a big pain in the ass. especially with no friends and no car. how would i manage? so do i just keep this place cause it's easier even though i'd be saving a bunch of money? any suggestions with that one?

guess i'm off to run, reduce stress, strengthen body and lose weight.

Think about it. Sometimes people are just destined, destined to do, what they do. And that's what it is. Now everybody dance.

Justin Timberlake, Hottie!

Even in medicine, though it is easy to know what honey, wine and hellebore, cautery and surgery are, to know how and to whom and when to apply them so as to effect a cure is no less an undertaking than to be a [veterinarian].
