i just went running in the bad kansas weather. today is the first day it iced and snowed. it's kinda cold and pretty windy; just plain yucky but of course i'm used to much worse so when people were saying they weren't going here or there because of the weather i thought they were silly. this town is so small anyway it's not like you have to go far in it. i'm not riding my scooter though. the ice and snow, just the littlest bit i think, would wipe me out.

running was fine though. at first my face was frozen but then it warmed up and i even removed my gloves and unzipped my jacket a bit. i didn't bring cleo. her cute little puddy paws would freeze. she just went outside to pee and it must suck for girl dogs to pee in the snow. they gotta squat and their vulva might touch the snow and feel horribly cold.

tomorrow is my parasit lab final; the class i'm just barely passing. wish me luck!

well i asked out my ex-library boyfriend out less than 30 min. ago. i thought if it worked out i'd just make him quit smoking. we won't get that far though, he turned me down but robreed now owes me $5. that's probably worth more to me now than some boy anyway. he was leaving the library to smoke and i was leaving to go home and he was walking by me so i asked him if he was leaving and he looked at me like i was crazy. why is this girl talking to me? then i said i wanted to ask him a question and while we walked out together i said how we were always at the library and would he want to do something outside the library sometime. his english isn't the greatest so he didn't understand what i was asking so he made me repeat and then said he wasn't interested in that right now or something similar. who knows if he even understood what i was saying. maybe in his language that automatically means can i fuck your brains out. it's just funny cause his response was something you'd say to a hooker when she's following you down the street trying to make some money. he said he was finishing up his masters and asked what i was studying and he asked my name and he told me his but i forgot. foreign names, ugh! i've pursued guys before but not so bluntly and i don't recall being turned down. it really wasn't so bad. we'll see what happens now that i have to see him still at the library all the time. just wait till i tell rebecca, nina and jen. we were all giddy tonite everytime he walked by. they weren't there to see me put on the moves. i'm not here for that either ex-library boyfriend but everyone needs some excitement once every few months i'd say.

QUOTES

It's better to burp and bear the shame than not to burp and bear the pain.

Grandpa Martin, RIP

Keep your wits about you.

Dr. Wally Cash, DVM

If the present sucks, then look to the future.

RobReed, BadBoy

Well, I want to try everything in life.

Heather Rose Martin, CFG (crazy freak girl)

In the book of life there's only two women, big ol' good ones and good ol' big ones.

Ice Cube, HipHopper

I'd rather have a terrorist standing next to me than a Frenchman. (~15 min. later) Oh, I forgot about that, that's another reason I don't like the French, they eat horses.

Dr. Dee Griffin, DVM

Think about it. Sometimes people are just destined, destined to do, what they do. And that's what it is. Now everybody dance.

Justin Timberlake, Hottie!

Even in medicine, though it is easy to know what honey, wine and hellebore, cautery and surgery are, to know how and to whom and when to apply them so as to effect a cure is no less an undertaking than to be a [veterinarian].

Aristotle, 384-322 BC

Going to Kansas for Vet School is like going to the Special Olympics to play chess.

RobReed, BoyGenius

Now you can either stand around here eatin' jambalaya or you can come upstairs and eat my ass!

Brian Kinney, QAF Hottie!
