i have to say 'big ups' to robreed for staying up all night setting up my new laptop. why did he have to stay up all night to do it? because APPLE SUCKS! there's a big long story attached to it dating back to the beginning of november that i can't go thru all right now but bottom line is apple's customer service is severely flawed and it took them way too long to get me my replacement computer since the one i had initially was defective. thanks apple! i was able to submit a formal complaint w/ Amy at their executive headquarters, whatever that means. anyway i spent my whole break without my new laptop and therefore couldn't use that time to sensibly set up my laptop. instead i just got my computer back right before leaving boston and robreed had to go all out and help me cause i would be lost. thanks robreed!

i left boston at 4:30 this morning so i could get to syracuse with my rental car by 10a so i didn't get charged extra. i was supposed to leave last night but i left the lights on in the car and the battery died so i had to call for a jump and that whole process took a couple hours and by that time it was after 10pm and my dad said the roads were bad in syracuse and rob and jenn didn't want me driving in the dark, very tired with bad roads so i took a nap for about 3 hours and then got up and drove here.

when i got here i finished making a photo album for my brother and hallie of their wedding. it came out pretty nice. i used nice photo corners to attach the pictures and tried to center everything but it's not easy to get that all right. after that i went to the antiques fair with my mom and while there i lost one of my great mittens that i've had for a long time. we have to call tomorrow to see if anyone returned it. after the antiques we went to visit my grandmother and then to the grocery so i could buy beer and soda to take to my brother and hallie's to watch the su vs. nd basketball game. i got there almost at the end of the first half and they had all eaten already so i grabbed some pizza and plopped on the couch between j (my brother's friend) and my dad. i didn't know my dad would be there but was pleasantly surprised. my dad is cool! su won the game! then we watched one of my favorite shows, star search. it's a new format from the one last season and i think i like it better. they have a really rude judge like simon but this guy is better.

my brother, etc. went out at 10pm downtown but i passed since i only slept for a few hours last night and have been up since 4am and my mom wants to bring me xcountry skiing in the morning. better get to bed-goodnight

	Hi, my name is Heather. I'm a 2nd year vet student. Email me. I love giraffes! I wish I had a pet giraffe and I would name it Mr. Giraffe. One time I had a pet elephant and his name was Loyal. I sent him a letter in The Jungle when I was in undergrad but I don't think it made it there. Loyal was cool! There's nothing better than playing with doggie and kittie poop in Parasitology, except maybe looking at all the dead stuff in necropsy.
