oh this morning sucked!! saturday night we had an ice storm and the power was out all sunday morning so that wasn't fun. it finally came back on and things were normal but then it went out again in the middle of last night and came back early morning but went out again just before i'm supposed to get up and shower. so i took a shower anyway, my roommate took off to school to shower but i was stupid and forgot i couldn't blowdry my hair. it was pretty dark too so i lit some candles. just before i was supposed to leave the power went back on and i blowdried my hair but then jen picked my up and i ran out the door leaving the candles going. i didn't realize they were on until we started our first class, medicine, so i didn't want to leave class plus i had gotten a ride so i didn't have my own transportation. the candles were pretty contained so i thought they'd be okay but then i thought one of them was on my bed cause that's where i set it so all during medicine i was picturing the dogs on fire so at the end of medicine i asked jen if i could borrow her car and go save the burning puppies. luckily everything was fine and i blew out the candles and only missed about 20 min. of a 3 hour systemic pathology class.
we got out of class today at 2p so i went up to the library and studied until 5p and then came home and ate dinner. i was supposed to meet the trainer jeff at the gym but i couldn't ride my scooter cause the weather was too bad so i thought i'd run there, lift w/ jeff and then run back but it was about 0 degrees so i wimped out. watched tv, did laundry and studied some. i wanted to go to bed early cause i'm going to school at 7a tomorrow so rebecca, margaret and i can get in some studying for our radiology exam. there's only so many radiographs to look at, all 108 of us have to share everything and they were all being used this afternoon. i doubt anyone else will go in before class. i'm pretty tired right now but i'm waiting for my duvet cover to dry so i can put it back on my bed.

I love giraffes! I wish I had a pet giraffe and I would name it Mr. Giraffe. One time I had a pet elephant and his name was Loyal. I sent him a letter in The Jungle when I was in undergrad but I don't think it made it there. Loyal was cool! There's nothing better than playing with doggie and kittie poop in Parasitology, except maybe looking at all the dead stuff in necropsy. |
