Another waste of a day. Didn't get up until 11am. Showered, went to Java for breakfast and a little studying. Jen called and we were to meet at the school at 3p to decorate Rebecca's desk for her birthday. I had to go to the mall before that to get Rebecca a present and stuff to decorate. So I didn't study much. Went to the mall and right after I left the store with Rebecca's present, I ran into Rebecca. I hope she didn't think anything. I might have come across rude but I was freaked out by seeing her and just wanted to get away so she didn't see the bag or anything. Met Jen to decorate and studied a little more. Came home to make sure SU made the tourney. They're a #5 seed playing BYU in Denver. Hope we slide right by those Mormons. Did laundry, tried to study a little more, had an awful headache, messed around way too long w/ my music, wanted to go to bed early and now it's 12:41am. I'm applying for this fellowship at MIT this summer so I'm kinda making plans in Boston in case I get it. Tonite I bought Cirque du Soleil tickets for July 27th in Boston with Rob and Jenn. We've gone so many times. Several times in DisneyWorld, they have a permanent show and 2 or 3 times in Boston. The show this summer I've never seen so I'm excited! If I don't go to Boston for the fellowship then I'll just plan a vacation to Boston in July so I can see the show and hang out with Billy and everyone in Boston. I just did a kinda stupid thing. I entered the lottery for the Mount Washington Road Race. If I get into the lottery then I get to run. I did this race several years ago but unfortunately it was the first year ever that they could only let us run half way up because the weather at the top was so horrible. So I never felt like I got the full experience though half the experience was HELL enough and plus I had to run halfway up and then back down. Normally you run all the way up and then get a ride down. The downhill was awful! It's so steep and you're just pounding on your extremely sore legs that just ran up the mountain. Normally, It's 7.6 miles to 6,288 feet. Oh, I just saw I ran this race in 2002. Guess it wasn't that long ago. Diana and her boyfriend Anton came with me last time. We went up the day before and stayed overnight somewhere in NH, as close as we could get to the mountain. Hopefully I'll be ready to run. The next time I go running, probably tomorrow, will be the first day of another one of my running streaks. If I don't make running into some kind of game then I don't do it consistently.
So I said SU made the tourney. Every year I have a bet going with Jenn and Rob, whoever scores the most points with their bracket wins. I won last year since SU went all the way and every year since forever I have SU going to the end. I don't know what to do this year. Can they make it 2 years in a row? Does it matter? It's just one of those things a fan does. They go with their team, no matter what. We have a big bet going this year though so I don't know if I can risk it. Last year I won a dinner at the Cheesecake Factory w/ appetizer, drinks, entree and a WHOLE cheesecake, not just one piece. This year the bet is as follows: a Cirque du Soleil ticket, 2 DVDs, a magazine subscription, a dinner at the place of your choice, and a movie complete with movie food. See, this one is for big money. The Cirque du Soleil ticket is ~$82, 2 DVDs say $40, mag sub. $20, dinner $40, movie and food $20. That's a grand total of $202. Geez, I don't have much time before Thursday to go through the teams that thoroughly. I have 2 exams before then and a quiz. I can't afford to lose this one.
