I just registered for Junior classes. Makes me happy to think I could be a Junior soon. I registered for: Medicine II, Food Animal Medicine, Vet Surgery I, Zoological Medicine, Laboratory Diagnosis and Toxicology. We get a bit of a break, only 20 credit hours. I could also sign up for Vet Practice Management but since I don't plan on working in or owning a clinic I'm not interested (it's optional). Plus paying out of state tuition sucks and I'd rather save my money! The other day we had to try on surgery gloves so they could order them for everyone.

The Swan is on. It might be interesting. Ugly chicks trying to look good. They usually look much better but most times they're still unattractive or at best average. Maybe someday when I pay off my $200,000 in student loans I can get some plastic surgery. I'd start out with my boobs, probably smaller not bigger, and my teeth. I want veneers. I had braces and my teeth are pretty straight but not perfect and my gums are receeding because I'm a freak and brush too hard and too much. I screwed my insurance company unknowingly several years back and ended up with free retainers so my teeth wouldn't move any more than they already have but I want perfect.

I usually click on these news links to see if any happened in the towns I'm from. Low and behold I found one, though it would have been better if it was a school I attended.

Congrats to Randy for getting into the PhD program at Georgetown. He's there right now getting his Master's in the same program, it's a 1 year program so he'll have his Master's in May but he decided to apply to the PhD program and he found out today he got in so he'll be in DC for at least 4 years.

Gotta go shower, Cleo and I just went running before bed.

I've been watching the 3rd season of Queer as Folk recently, I just finished episode 11, 3 more to go. Brian and Justin are still amazing! Season 4 starts this month so I'm tempted to get Showtime so I don't have to wait for the DVDs to come out. Then I could also see The L Word.

QUOTES

It's better to burp and bear the shame than not to burp and bear the pain.

Grandpa Martin, RIP

Keep your wits about you.

Dr. Wally Cash, DVM

If the present sucks, then look to the future.

RobReed, BadBoy

Well, I want to try everything in life.

Heather Rose Martin, CFG (crazy freak girl)

In the book of life there's only two women, big ol' good ones and good ol' big ones.

Ice Cube, HipHopper

I'd rather have a terrorist standing next to me than a Frenchman. (~15 min. later) Oh, I forgot about that, that's another reason I don't like the French, they eat horses.

Dr. Dee Griffin, DVM

Think about it. Sometimes people are just destined, destined to do, what they do. And that's what it is. Now everybody dance.

Justin Timberlake, Hottie!

Even in medicine, though it is easy to know what honey, wine and hellebore, cautery and surgery are, to know how and to whom and when to apply them so as to effect a cure is no less an undertaking than to be a [veterinarian].

Aristotle, 384-322 BC

Going to Kansas for Vet School is like going to the Special Olympics to play chess.

RobReed, BoyGenius

Now you can either stand around here eatin' jambalaya or you can come upstairs and eat my ass!

Brian Kinney, QAF Hottie!

It gets right ugly.

Dr. Patricia A. Payne, DVM

Rob Reed, Brainiac

When I gotta poop, I gotta poop.

Inch by inch life's a cinch, yard by yard life gets hard.

Dr. Steve Swaim, DVM

Our scars have the power to remind us that the past was real.

Dr. Hannibal Lecter, CFB

Dr. Sanjay Kapil, DVM
