Okay after a pep talk from RobReed, I'm gonna try once and for all to turn things around. Here's my new motto: There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow. This song plays in the Carousel of Progress at Disney and it's one of my favorite rides. The song is really catchy and I end up singing it over and over while I'm there.

I haven't watched ER for quite a few years. I used to watch it all the time. I just started watching again last week. It really is a good review for me. I try and yell out what to do before they do and I'm right sometimes. I guess I'm learning a bit more about cardiology though not enough to be comfortable in class when Dr. Bulmer calls on me.

I had from 12-10p to take my Clin Path quiz online. Normally we take them in class, the quizzes are open book, but we never have enough time since we have class afterward and don't get a lunch on those days either. This time it was online and we could take it anytime. I just took it while watching tv from 7-9:30p. I got a 9/10 which is okay but I wonder what I got wrong.

Poor Howard. Don't worry Howard I won't vote for George W.

Well I had a horrible start to my day. My Clin Path exam was finally waiting inside my mailbox. My Professor had posted our scores online a few days before so we'd at least know what we got. I was excited to see I had an 84%. It was 6% better than the first exam and this was the exam I didn't study for, well maybe for an hour. I was happy to see I'd survived my not studying. So I get my exam back this morning and the score written on my exam is 14.5 points lower or 18% lower, so a 66%. So I didn't want to look through my test, I was too pissed. I knew there must have been a mistake recording the grades online though I didn't know how many of us it affected. Maybe it was only me. I knew I had to say something but I didn't want the lower grade. Turns out someone got married over spring break and changed her last name so it affected everyone from her new last name through her old last name, basically M-R. I went to my Professor to tell him and he said someone else said something and he was fixing it. So my new test also has written on it 'Do you need extra help?' Yes I do but not spefically in this class. I just need an overall adjustment. I sat in class all day thinking if I had a gun I could just go out in the fields and shoot myself so I wouldn't leave a mess anywhere but I don't have a gun. I don't think I ever can get one because I'm about 90% sure I'd use it on myself.

Nina was upset today because she was called on in class and didn't know the answer and thinks she never knows the answer which is totally not true and she's very down on herself. It's hard for me to be sympathetic when I sit in class all day preparing my suicide and am about 1 point away from not passing 1 class and a couple of my others are sketchy.

Think about it. Sometimes people are just destined, destined to do, what they do. And that's what it is. Now everybody dance.

Justin Timberlake, Hottie!

Even in medicine, though it is easy to know what honey, wine and hellebore, cautery and surgery are, to know how and to whom and when to apply them so as to effect a cure is no less an undertaking than to be a [veterinarian].

Aristotle, 384-322 BC

Going to Kansas for Vet School is like going to the Special Olympics to play chess.
