I reviewed a lot of code, but could not detect any real harmfull stuff. I found some code parts which do not look 'nice' and fixed them up (we were allocating twice as much memory as we needed in one case), but I can't envision that this will fix the problem. I checked the changes in, we will see if this improves things. The next step will involve undoing all the changes done for this particular build.

I also checked the construction site over lunch. The electrician created a big mess, had to open up wallpaper on some walls to find the power-connector for the window-blinds control. What a moron waiting up-to-now to finish his job. The main contractor was totally pissed, this will throw him back in his schedule. In addition some of the hardwood floor did not turn out as nice as he/we expected. If he can't get it fixed, there will be some square-meters of hardwood floor he will have to replace in the living room and in the master bedroom. This will force him to redo the finishing in those rooms - which will delay us moving in again (don't get me started on this one!).

No progress on the heap corruption bug, I had the system running all night with heap check activated and did not run into any problems. I hope I get my dev-machine unpacked by tomorrow to throw some more horsepower at the problem. I will do some code reviews today and see if I can find any suspicios code.

On the house/construction site: Went to the house at 7am to let the electrician into the house. He was swearing pretty badly since he could not get to the cable which were somehow pushed behind some window. Not my problem, if he would done this a couple of month ago when I asked him the first time, he would not have these problems now. It looks like most of the stuff will get done today ... perhaps we finally can move into the house - worst case tomorrow ... I hope.
