Covalent Technologies this week said its Enterprise Ready Server, based on the Apache 2.0 code, is now compatible with ASP.NET, Microsoft's technology for dynamic Web page generation.

Wow! This is extremely significant if you combine it with ongoing Rotor and other efforts to port .NET Unix and Linux. I think Microsoft is very smart to embrace, as they did with FrontPage server extensions which are now ubiquitous on all platforms and web servers.
