About This Scrapbook
As the subtitle says: it is just a scrapbook from RSS feeds with few comments. Almost all scraps will be about some "technology" - a word hijacked by IT and software people for their exclusive use - like Java, XML, web services, programming languages, blogging, KM etc, etc. I rarely read actual news the moment I see them from my RSS feed "accumulator" but select a few that catch my attention, then post them to my blog for later perusal. Another way of looking at this scrapbook is it is like $PATH or %PATH% for my search - think of it like a bastardized or cheapened lifestream.
Because this is just a scrapbook, I make few comments. I may jot down a word or a line as a note to myself but I don't really write anything substansial. Writing of substance takes effort or time that this scrapbook does not deserve.
Why then make it public? Just because. Well, it's easy to do and it sure doesn't cost me much. A few minutes here and there and $40 already paid to Userland. Who knows somebody may find it useful -- this is nothing but some raw data for true aggregation for future RSS or better technology. (We can't possibly call our current RSS readers "aggregators" when all they do is to accumulate some data.)
