My random comments and collections on complex adaptive systems as they relate to healthcare.
System: interconnected parts.
Complex: too many parts and relationships for easy prediction.
Adaptive: The parts can make their own choices, and these autonomous choices make the system evolve. Agreeded upon simple rules can move the system toward goals.
We will use this or a similar graphic on the home page of the future to guide users to the parts they are interested in. We will also add search capabilities by these categories... in the future, the near future I hope.
