a travel log
From France to Scotland by sea.

My Able Crews

This trip was about sailing, about places, and of course about people. Here are some shots of my worthy shipmates, in order of appearance.

Fog bound a mile away from Audierne, my dad, captain and owner of Papou

Mum, on a wonderful day of walking on the shores of the Pink Granit Coast, North Brittany.

Babs at the helm in a good breeze between Torquay and Salcombe

My friend Tim - a good friend and housemate during my first year of college at Southampton. The only "local" I took with me :). Taken somewhere between Falmouth and Newlyn.

The future Prada skipper Marco, helming in solid winds to Skomer Island, aka the Islands of the Birds...

Richard on watch under the drizzle, somewhere between Aberystwyth and Pwllheli.

Eric, making 5-6 knots 1 hour away from Ireland.

Simon at sunset time, getting ready for our night arrival into Kinsale

Oh, and that's me. Taken by my father a few days from the end of the trip.
