B2B International e-contracts

One of my contacts, from the eCommerce eAcademic world, asked me for suggestions with respect to a project he is working on.  It is cut & pasted below.  I felt like my qualifications were lacking in giving a good answer beyond my past remarks about computer abuse out of control followed by an explosion of new regulations that ordinary mortals have a hard time tracking, so I asked about broadcasting this to other contacts & he said yes, so for that reason I am sharing his e-mail address.

If you interested in commenting on this, be sure to reply to Joseph directly.  I am also somewhat interested.

Subject: electronic contracts and law

Dear Al
I am presently reviewing UNICTRAL's draft proposals for 'formation of contracts' on the Internet between B2B. There is a section in the work that deals with B2B models. Do you have any information that will allow me to anticipate some of the practical/technical issues which both UNCITRAL and the UK (Regs 2002) need to be aware of?

Any assistance will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Joseph

Al replied to this

I asked Joseph for some urls to help people put his project in perspective, see what  has been done so far, so that it is then more obvious what is missing.

If you will grant me permission, I can forward your question to other e-contacts who may be better qualified than myself to address this. They include people whom I have met on discussion groups focused on a variety of e-Commerce e-Academic topics. Professionally, I am a computer technical person residing in the USA, with wide ranging interests, but lack of specific expertise of the kind you are currently looking for.
