Navigating Your Radio Site

These instructions are how to get a story into your Radio Weblog based on one I created.

  1. Open up two windows in your browser.
  2. Have the first window look at my story http://radio.weblogs.com/0107846/stories/2002/08/17/radioUrlNumberSystem.html  This is a cheat sheet for navigating our Radio urls when we are beginners at this.
  3. Have the second window at your desk top home edit screen http://127.0.0.1:5335/
  4. Then select Stories http://127.0.0.1:5335/system/pages/stories
  5. Review the names of your existing stories and decide what to call your new one.
  6. Click on the create link http://127.0.0.1:5335/system/pages/newStory and assign the new title.
  7. In the first window, highlight and copy my stuff.
  8. In the second window, paste in my information.
  9. Edit your copy so that every place it has my Home url prefix http://radio.weblogs.com/0107846 you substitute your corresponding Radio Weblog url.
  10. It would be nice if you gave credit to Al Macintyre for showing you how this works.
  11. Save your work, then make adjustments to the overall text so that the examples you use are relevant to your stories categories and features of your Radio Weblog.
