Heaven Dimension

This article is not for those who are extremely religious, rather it is for people like Al Macintyre who struggle to reconcile Science and Religion, adjusting interpretations of both to achieve harmony of understanding.  Likewise this article is also not for Athiests who are anti-Religion.  You may label Al as an Agnostic, someone who is a Science believer but neither a Religion believer nor a non-believer, who is on the outside, looking at the various belief systems phenomena with some indecision, lack of faith, but not a lack of curiosity.  There are a lot of angles here to explain or put into some perspective, so this is yet another story that I will start, then add to over time.

Science Fiction can paint pictures of many worlds and concepts then explore different ideas to great depths, opening our eyes to possibilities often difficult to present in purely factual dimensions.  Then after we think we better understand some concepts, we can return to reality and gain a greater appreciation for the actual truth.  Here is a wild notion I got out of the book The Curse of Chalion by Lois McMaster Bujold, an author I love because of her Barrayar Miles Vorkosigan Saga.  This latest book is a bit of a Feudal Fantasy, which is not normally my cup of tea, but I picked it up on the strength of the author and now glad I did.  Warning - I could not put it down until I finished reading it, so you might not want to start until you got a weekend available.

Apply the age old question, whose answer is self evident to Theists, since it goes with the territory of their beliefs and faith:

• Where is the after life?  (assuming there is one)
• Apply that question within the Science Fiction concept of Alternate Realities.
• Consider the territory of The God(s) as being but another dimension that co-exists with our spacial dimensions and Alternate Reality dimensions, whose connection is
• Soul as Portal.
• Our Souls exist or communicate with God's dimension.
• God sees our Souls, not our bodies.
• While our bodies live in this reality, our souls are anchored here, but when our bodies die, our souls connection to God's dimension dictate their travel to there.
• I think it was sheer genius for Ms Bujold to craft this vision within a Fantasy novel.

A popular theme of the Time Travel and Alternate Realities Genre's is the notion that dimensions in the time space continuum include:

• Familiar Three Dimensional Space
• Additional dimensions of space supporting travel short cuts, such as through worm holes.
• Vertical Time Travel Dimension, past to future
• Horizontal Time Dimension connection to Alternate Realities
