About the # link at the end of each item

At the end of each entry in PULSE is a pound sign (#) that is a link to that item. For example, on October 24, the following item appeared:

Questionnaire identifies depressions in children
Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research press release at EurekAlert - "Developmental psychologist Jessica van Mulligen from the University of Nijmegen has compiled a questionnaire to detect depressions in children aged six to eight years. The questionnaire is more attuned to the typical symptoms of young depressive children than a much used American questionnaire." comment [0]  #

You can link to that particular item in PULSE - perhaps sending the link to a friend or colleague via e-mail - by pointing with your mouse to the # sign, right-clicking, and selecting "Copy Shortcut" from the menu that appears.

In this case, that shortcut is http://radio.weblogs.com/0108660/2002/10/24.html#a392 - an address that will send users to that particular item on the page for October 24.
