Here are some Prague pics!
It's astronomical!!! Yes, this is Prague's Astronomical Clock. It can tell something like 15 different ways of time, most of which have been extinct for hundreds of years. The four statues on the top bow represent the four evils and they "bow down" to the four statues on the bottom that represent the four virtues. This happens every hour and I'm sure it gets very annoying for the unfortunate folks that work inside the town hall that the clock sits on.

From the depths of the Prague Castle, Erin and I were able to capture paranormal activity. Or, the camera was just acting wacky when the battery gets low.

This is Prague's Changing of the Guard, at the entrance to the Prague Castle. Not quite as exciting as that in London or DC, but it happens every hour, so I guess they're even! The guards also aren't quite as "professional" as the those in London, they kept smirking and laughing during the ceremony.

Here are some muscians on St. George's Bridge. The Bridge is lined with statues of saints that died terrible deaths (falling, mauling, strangling, etc). Also lined on the bridge are tons of shops and musical acts like these guys. The guy second to the left had this funny habit of making his eyes pop from his head at random times, scaring all the kids away.

This is that statue of Jan Hus, the "icon" of the Czechs. Unfortunately, I can't remember his story, but I know he stood against some tyrant and was killed. Fun stuff!

Here is The Church of Our Lady. Never went in it, but it looks cool and is lit up during the night, overlooking the main square in Old Town.

Here is the entrance of St. Vitacus Cathedral, the main attraction in the Prague Castle. THis photo was pieced together from three photos, so cut me some slack on the quality.

I wish I knew how to work my camera better (I'm learning about exposure levels and white balence just now), because capturing the beauty of this stained glass window in St. Vitacus is probably impossible, but I'm sure I could have done a better job than this. The artwork is very "cubist" and art deco-ish. The cathedral took 900 years to finish, so the outside is gothic but the inside is cubist. Very cool!

This is the first thing you see when entering St. Vitacus. Quite breathtaking.

After 280+ steps, we climbed to the top of the St. Vitacus bell tower to find a wonderful view of Prague's Old Town.
