Here's the list of speakers for the third speech.

The third speech is over a concept and worth 150 points. You will also have a graded outline. The speech should be at least 5 minutes and contain 5 sources mentioned in the speech. There is no visual aid requirement.

See the book for examples of concept speeches. Have you topic ready by the individual conferences the week after spring break.

Here's a list of speakers for the second speech.

This speech is on "How to do" something. It's 4-5 minutes long with 4 or more source. Don't forget to metion your sources in the speech. This speech will also have a visual aid and outline. The visual aid and outline will receive separate grades.

Speech #2

This speech is an informational speech on a process. How something works. This speech will include a visual aid which will be graded seperately. Also,there's a seperate grade for an outline with source notes.

The speech should be between 4-5 minutes and include four different sources as well as visual aid. Visual aids can be a poster, diagram or useable items for the speech. The visual aids are a supplement not a crutch.

The speeches start on Monday, Feb. 24. Topics for you speech are due Monday, Feb. 17.

Informative Speech #1

Pick one of two general topics:

A. The history or impact of an object.

B. A Day in the life.

Speech will be a minimum of 4 to 5 minutes. Also, include an outline and at least 3 sources to be included on the outline. Have you specic topic chosen by Friday, Jan. 24. Speech order will be assigned on Monday, Jan. 27th.
