I read the news today, oh boy
Got the paper this morning. The Wisconsin State Journal, our morning paper, showed two photos of Sunday's peace rally in San Francisco (unlike most rallies, the SF rally was on Sunday, since the city was already jammed with people celebrating Chinese New Year). One picture of the peace rally, which had some 150,000 people (including at least 3 of my Bay area friends). And a second picture of a 30 person pro-war rally. Balanced reporting, after all.
The Capital Times, our afternoon paper, managed to use one of its two phots showing someone burning a flag, an occurence which has nothing to do with the proposed war on Iraq, and which is so insignificant that I haven't found a report from San Francisco that even mentions it.
