ARRESTED: Tommy Bennett, Former NFL

PHOENIX -- Associated Press reports former Arizona Cardinals safety Tommy Bennett was arrested last week, accused of failing to appear in court on charges of drug paraphernalia possession and driving with a suspended license. The Cardinals released Bennett in August 2001, and he signed with the Detroit Lions. He was suspended for the final four games of 2001 for violating the NFL's steroid-use policy. The Lions did not renew his contract.
