Using an Ontology to Communicate Knowledge Across Disciplines

This is basically a dumbed up version of Towards Solving the Interdisciplinary Language Barrier Problem in which I describe the same idea using the specialized language of the Knowledge Engineering community, and explain how it relates to the existing body of work in that area. The main differences are that I removed the references to problem-solving (important but not essential) and incorporated the idea of using a wiki to collaboratively build the ontology.
