How do I get my pictures to be upstreamed? This is what I have tried so far (I am a newbie, so please don't laugh): 1) I turned on the MyPictures tool, I set the "Watch" folder (which has one .jpg in it.) and the "Destination" folder. I waited about 30 minutes and checked the "Folder" link. The name of the jpg file appeared in the "myImages" folder, but there was no globe icon to the right of the filename. 2) I exited Radio, deleted the myPictures.root file from the RadioTools folder. Then I started Radio, downloaded the myPictures tool into the RadioTools folder. I set the "Watch" and "Destination" folders again. The "Watch" folder had one jpg file in it. I waited about 30 minutes. Now the "myImages" folder does not even list the jpg file. 3) I checked the "Events" link from my local menu. I see no mention of pictures anywhere.
What am I doing wrong? 3:17:08 PM |

[Slashdot]: Web Services Making Software Coexist? Thanks to Jrobb for the pointer to lukwam.com, who has his TiVO wired up to the Web. "I want this (without too much hacking). Just think of the collaborative filtering possibilities. Also I have to admit that I'd like to save copies of films like the <a href="#When:6:59:09AM">Hollywood Revue of 1929 on my desktop hard drive. And while you're at it, hmmm, I guess I'd like to share it with other people. What am I going to do, Napster spoiled me. ";->"" 11:49:36 AM |
