It Is About Time...
The usual way to think of time is linear; there is a cause and then there is the effect. There is the past, and there is the future, and we are here, in the middle, in the present. This appears to make sense from our point of view, as we see the natural progression of time in nature, as all things cycle through the stages of life, from birth to death. From this level of perception, there is no immortality to be found.
Now let us shift our perception of time. Imagine a spoked wheel, like the old wagon wheels. Imagine there were countless spokes radiating out from the center, each one touching the rim. Each spoke represents one of our lifetimes. From the viewpoint of our physical dimension bounded by space and time, (the rim of the wheel) each lifetime seems to follow, one after the other in a progression of evolution. And if we were able to move our viewpoint to the center of the circle, (what is called the One, or the Logos, or God), than from that center, all of our lives or incarnations are existing simultaneously. Ever have a vague sense that you are having parallel lives existing at the same time, and maybe touch on some of them in dreams or visions?
One of my clients met a magical man 2 years ago, a leprechaun in human form, on Inisheer, one of the Aran Islands off the west coast of Ireland. She was enchanted by him. And now she has fallen in love with a man in Boston, who is Irish and appears to be the same person, maybe 25 or 30 years younger. Impossible? A coincidence? Is it possible to have two lives existing in the same time frame? And the best question of all, what if you met someone who was also yourself, living out one of your multiple lives......?
