The Call, Part 2

".... And we want to be here in the most fundamental way. We wish to be here. There may be many reasons for that, but at the core, it is because our souls responded to that call of love. It is because life itself is a calling, a dialogue between the earth and ourselves as we each strive to fulfill the potentials with which God has graced us.

That was my spirit friend John's perception of us. He saw each of us as walking answers to a call: a sacred call to enter manifestation, a planetary call to help the earth, and a communal call to empower and co-create with one another. He would often say, therefore, when someone would ask about his or her calling, 'Your calling is to be here. There is no higher mission, for each of us is a gateway that can open to allow the Beloved to step through. To give expression to the Beloved, to be that gateway, is why the universe appeared. It is the ultimate Call. "
