Sorry about the lack of postings near the end, we did not have to access due to the circumstances of our accommodation, but I can now show the rest of the pictures of the walk.  The last few days were excellent and the weather was great, the tempreture was very warm.

Mark Griffin was constantly on a sugar rush as he was always ahead of the rest, must have been his tall legs.  Thats why he is not in alot of the pictures.

As we entered Glencoe we came across a large bird of prey, I managed to get a picture but we believe it is a Buzzard or possibly a Golden Eagle.

As expected, the views and scenery were breath taking, so here is a few more pictures of our walk.

There will be more postings, so keep returning to see the last of the pictures.

Day 4

This is the first chance we have had to make postings since the first day. Sadly we have lost two of our companions, Andrew and Stephen (Riv and Mason), who pulled out after the first day with heavily damaged feet.

The weather is great for walking, dry and overcast so its not too hot, but not too good for the pictures but here are some anyway.

We would like to thank Bridge of Orchy Hotel for kindly allowing us access to the internet using their phone line.

We are off to Kinghouse tomorrow and the four remaining are going strong, we will hopefully be able to give an update tomorrow nite.

Day 1 has passed and it has been a day of mixed events.

After a few hours we came across a cow instinctively protecting her new born calf in the middle of the path, while we paused to consider what to do a jogger ran up casually and tried to approach and get past the cow. He was promptly charged at and tossed six feet into the air and landed with a large thud.

The views have been amazing - here are a few pictures alongwith the great weather.

We all have sore feet, some worse than others - but we will pull through.

The owner of Bay Cottage in Balmaha has kindly allowed us access to the internet via her phone line.

The group are taking radios on the walk with them which will allow them to keep in close contact with each other if they may separate shortly.  Hopefully this will tighten security for the group and also the radio are capable to be picked up by any of the rescue services which if comes to the worst may come in handy.

The group are all going into Glasgow tomorrow to buy the all important bits and pieces for the walk.

We have to phone some of the places which are accommodating us and find out if they have a phone line in which we can upload any pictures or stories from our day of walking.

We have been kindly supported by the St. Maurice's National Sports Comprehensive, which has been used to pay for part of our accommodation.
