A picture named orion.jpgOrion. Here's a Raumpatrouille board game. I don't understand anything of it because it's all in Hungarian. But nice. Looks good. Mhmm...now what does "Az egyetlen értelmes jelzés a fedél sarkában lenne található, de azon a jelek szerint az egyik kiskutyánk próbálgathatta a fogacskáit. De azt hiszem, sikerült rekonstruálnom a maradék nyomokat, és tisztelettel adózok a Péceli Htsz. (talán háztáji szövetkezet) emlékének." mean?

A picture named afri.jpgSexy-mini-super-flower-pop-op-cola - everything's in afri-cola. Good old Charles Wilp. Here is some German ad-history; the afri-cola print ads are here and all the commercials, including Charles Wilp's infamous 'nuns' commercial, are here (Quicktime). The main website is of course afri-cola.com.

And Roland Greppmeir maintains a very informative afri-cola history website with galleries of old bottles, cans, signs and advertising.

A picture named peel.jpgPeel slowly and see. At RetroCrush - Sex, Monsters and Rock'n Roll - you will not only find a very big Diana Rigg Gallery, but also articles like 'Ugly furniture of the 70s', 'The first Video Arcade Game' and so on. Worth browsing.

"Diana Rigg's original leather outfit is now owned by famous 70s singer, Leo Sayer! "

A picture named warbot.gifHousecleaning. I'd like to tidy up my list of links on the right, so ...

Unsuspecting Tourist: Mark, are you still there? Shall I keep your link?

A picture named Otto.jpg... find ich gut. A complete OTTO (exclamation mark) mail order catalog from 1965 (three exclamation marks).

This is amazing. More than 600 pages, all scanned in - fashion, furniture, toys. Anybody out there who's working on a 60s movie? Need some styling? Look no further.

More examples of German mail order catalogues can be be found at - where else - alte versandhauskataloge.de, covering the 50s - 70s. Even more exciting are the Antique Catalogues: There's one from 1878 and a few more ranging from 1934 to 1939, which is the time when the funny little Austrian with the funny little moustache came to power. But that's a different story.

A picture named aviary.jpgWhy Cats Paint. A fascinating website about some very talented cats. Check out the 'Documentry' (why can't they spell?); Quicktime movies of cats painting. Amazing.

A picture named zorn.gifGrrr. This is great. I switch the machine back on, and everything's back to normal. So maybe I can post a few entries now? Computers, especially Apples; I hate them all. Except the old Mac Classic stashed away in the cupboard - now THAT was a computer!

A picture named DSCF0009.jpgThere's a worm in my Apple. My eMac is displaying (what a pun!) all the symptoms of the dreaded 'Raster Shift' disease and it's virtually impossible to do anything with this machine. Got to ring Apple tomorrow morning, I hope their Service Department works on Saturdays...absolutely no idea when I'll be able to add all those fantastic links and websites I collected over the past two weeks. Mhm. Guess I'll buy a Dell next time.

"tube"Hooray! The Central Line is up and running again - it took me only 50 mins getting from Waterloo to Grange Hill, compared to two hours with all these silly replacement buses and trains and rollerskates and wheelchairs and... Fabulous.
