Creepy. And almost pornographic. The Mannequin Shop offers mannequins for museums, stores, window-dressers and private persons. Go and check it out, it's amazing. And creepy. And pornographic. And don't miss the museum.Via iconomy.

Brilliant. Plain brilliant: The Credit Card Prank."How crazy would I have to make my signature before someone would actually notice? In my lifetime, I have made nearly 15,000 credit card transactions. I purchase almost everything on plastic. What bugs me about credit card transactions is the signing. Who checks the signature? Nobody checks the signature."

How interesting. Those guys have done basically everything to ruin the company, and now...GBP2m bonus deal for Cordiant chiefs. Guardian Unlimited Jun 6 2003 5:22AM ET [Moreover - moreover...] This is unbelievable. What is going on in this world? Whatever happened to all the employees, talented people that have been made redundant? Are they going to get a payoff? Surely not. See me in the bathroom - I have to throw up. Both men will receive payoffs equivalent to 18 months' salary as well as guaranteed bonuses in the event of a sale or a debt-for-equity swap, which would leave shareholders with virtually nothing.

Photographer to the World. Fascinating exhibition of the Detroit Publishing Company materials, hosted by The Henry Ford. Amazing historical US-photography."The material in the museum?s collection today consists of 30,000 vintage photographic prints, 15,000 postcards, and 5,000 color and sepia lithographic prints. The photographs are contact prints made by the company from the original glass-plate negatives. They often contain written information about the topic and the photographer, instructions concerning reproduction methods and retouching marks. This current online exhibit is based on the museum exhibit and includes over 250 prints, photographs, postcards and documents relating to Detroit Publishing Company. The website was created in 2002 and was funded, in part, by a grant from the Detroit Area Library Network (DALNET).

TV-mania, day 2. This surely must have been blogged before? I honestly can't remember where I found it. Maybe I found it myself. Whatever. One word: BAMBY. A German website with everything about German TV series from 1956 to now: Episode guides, plots, soundbytes, videoclips, pictures, animated gifs. Just amazing. And it's still a work in progress. Have a look for yourself.More German 'Fernseh-Sounds' are here; thanks to Edlef for the link!

100% Kitsch. At Deutsches Haus (which incidentally is an American company) you will find - erm - 'German products', perfect for every occasion! Have fun with this colourful website.Reminds me a bit of the 'Sauerbraten' I once had in a so called German Restaurant in Chicago.

Memories. Time tales is a wonderful, almost poetic little website:"... a collection of found photographs. found at fleamarkets, thriftshops, some are scooped up from streets and alleyways, fallen from an overstuffed bag or torn pocket. others turn up in a cabinet's hidden compartment, found while wandering the rooms of an abandoned house. now the photos exist by themselves, lost in time. time tales does not want to reveal their mysteries. time tales asks to be the new home for lost photos, a resting place, for the nameless and the lost." Found at iconomy.
