A picture named blind.gifGreek German. German Greek copy. Greek German copy. Dummy ... text. Whatever. Blindtexte.

Blogged before, but found again with DEVONagent for OS X. Fab software.

A picture named 0,1020,227058,00.jpgI was wondering. In the "old days" I used to report each and every spam I received straight to spamcop. The "old days" were when I got about 30 spams a day. Now that I'm getting between 200 and 350 a day, it just doesn't seem to make sense anymore - even with an automated reporting system I'd just lose precious time. I was also thinking that reporting 200 spams a day might just add to the bandwidth already being used by spam? And it doesn't seem to help anymore; I reported one especially nasty mail this morning. Ten minutes later I received 50 mails, well, I guess they were spams - all from different addresses, blank subject line, blank body; they must have been from the person I was complaining about. I think reporting doesn't make sense anymore. Or did it ever, apart from setting up blacklists that are faulty anyway?

Oh, and bots look here please.

A picture named sawmanlex_sm.jpgAir Guitar. The Theremin.

Besides looking like no other instrument, the theremin is unique in that it is played without being touched. Two antennas protrude from the theremin - one controlling pitch, and the other controlling volume. As a hand approaches the vertical antenna, the pitch gets higher. Approaching the horizontal antenna makes the volume softer. Because there is no physical contact with the instrument, playing the theremin requires precise skill and perfect pitch.
