InfoWorld: Judge tosses case against P-to-P networks. In an enormous blow to the music and motion picture industries, a Los Angeles federal judge dismissed a lawsuit against file-sharing services Grokster and StreamCast Networks Friday, saying that they can not be held culpable for illegal file trading done over their networks. Merging Tech.

Lots of ETCon coverage out there. For the latest check here, here, here, here, here, here and here. That last one is my Linux Joural blog, which will be getting an interface-lift shortly. It's a bit rocky on the mistake front because I'm using it as an opportunity to beef up my underpowered skills with vi.
