What goes up, must come down.Applies to dictators, presidents, emperors, and bullets. Reporters are wearing helmets as Iraqis celebrate by shooting into the air. 9:44:28 AM |
Another Canadian blogMike Campbell's Campblog (he's in Nova Scotia, that gives him another hour on us easterners)... provides some thoughts on reaction in Bagdad. 8:47:45 AM |
A moment of reconciliationBlair just issued a statement that one could have mistaken for a Thanksgiving message. Bottom line, we got the bum, now let's everyone learn to live together. 8:40:50 AM |

Saddam is captured -- but where are the blogs? The capture hit the wires less than an hour ago. Technorati doesn't regist the earthquake that will hit the blogs today. Instapundit isn't awake yet. A couple of bits from the press conference Gen. Sanchez just finished in Iraq: An Iraqui reporter was wondering if we would take Saddam somewhere where capital punishment was legal (his followup indicated that he would hope Saddam would be executed.) A reporter actually asked what Saddam was doing when captured. The response "hiding." Where do we get these "journalists"? 7:45:25 AM |
SADDAM CAPTURED
A nice way to start a Sunday morning. NYT Post Hmmm.. The announcement hit the Times at 6:56 am. Nothing on the blogwires... none of my aggregators said anything. Time to do some surfin... 7:39:25 AM |
