Ok, so one of Bush's ideas trying to justify the Iraqi War is that it will create a democracy in the region that will act as a good example for the rest of the Middle East nations to emulate. Isn't Turkey a democracy? Isn't it in the region. How come it isn't a good enought democratic example? Isn't it even good enough for the European Union to consider it for entry into the EU?

Now here is an acronym I'm sure you will have some reason to use at least once in the next 3 days. Over at a Blog called Glacial Erratics he says: "Some moons ago, colleagues somewhere in the support organization of the university I was working for started using the term MEGO: My Eyes Glaze(d) Over. A term used when describing the effect of tedious documentation or perhaps a meeting trapped in a whirlpool of repetition."  [Glacial Erratics]

Stumbled across the apparent origin of the word "booze" today. At museum in Wheaton Village in New Jersey they had a display of early whiskey bottles. Some of the bottles were manufactured by E.G. Booz company. The bottles were in the shape of a log cabin, rectangular. The chimney was round and served as the neck of the bottle. The roof of the cabin was embossed with the EG Booz name.
