MMORP Characters
I like to play MMORP Games. In the past two of my favorites were DAOC and AC2. Dark Age of Camelot and Asheron’s Call 2. MMORP? Massively Multiplayer On-line Role Playing Games. These are computer games played online that feature you controlling a character that interacts with other characters which are controlled by other real people. In the vernacular of the games WOOT!. Very cool. Each character in the game has a role or profession. That profession has different skills, strengths and weaknesses. In these two games, your character needs to team and cooperate with other player characters to be able to survive and advance in the 3D world environment. After advancing to a certain level in these games, it is possible to fight other player characters in "battle zones." The games feature large maps to explore, with lots of monsters to fight and conquer. Quests, mini or major tasks also are featured.
Here are two of my favorite characters from DAOC

Ibexx is a magic user "Mentalist"
He throws lightening bolts, damage over time spells and can heal people.
People love him for his power regen spell, which helps other players
recover their spell casting power.
He also can charm creatures and make them his "pet", but he is bad at this and they often kill him :).
His quote "Me? Famous for Dying? I always wanted to be famous!!!" |
Blinni is a fighter "Hero."
He is a big bad dude with a sharp pointy spear and the ability to parry blows with a way cool back flip. He is strong and a great "tank." |
