Eduardo Manchón, from Alzado.org, just published and interview (in spanish) about LoQUo's design and philosophy. Eduardo specializes in HCI and information arquitecture. Check out his blog and the cadius mailing list on web usability and information architecture topics.
Thank you much Eduardo, for the gesture.

UK Guardian: “The UK-based Andrew Losowsky, is about to publish a print version of his online writings from Barcelona”. Didn’t actually know that it had a link to LoQuo (to the right under the go there section).
Thanks and best of luck to Barçabook

I also would like to declare victory over spam. It turns out that this outlook addin, already praised at infinitum by Udell and many others is working like a charm for me
Very little fuss, only 5 messages manually trained and a relatively painless setup (just a bit slow) but well documented. So far only one false negative but I’m pretty confident that overtime I won’t see another exciting offer to get a nigerian-penis-larger-than-a-printer-cartridge painlessly implanted.
Sorry, no printer cartridge picture.

I just started experimenting today with text ads as a way to find sustainability for LoQUo. The spenditure is not just our time fixing bugs, improving the site but also hardware costs, bandwidth and, more importantly, time spent in moderation.
My guess, though, is that it will only cover the very basics.
I’ll keep an eye on it, because if it doesn’t cover minimum costs, I definitively will discontinue the program because of the annoyance to LoQUo users.
I hope people find them reasonably harmless, after all the adverts are contextual and fairly unintrusive. We still might want to filter some; still too early to tell

Getting ready to launch LoQUo Madrid pretty soon now. Just need to make a decision on a color scheme and do a bit more testing. Anybody interesting on starting a mad4free in Madrid?
Finally, getting a lot more traffic now, this month will get to 350,000 page views. The problem (or the blessing, depending on how you look at it) is that it keeps going up every day. If I extrapolate on the traffic curve (non linear, of course) we might get to half a million page views on July. We'll see.
