first things first... An hommage to our Muses.

setting up, starting off... We shall first import relevant pages, texts and forms from our original site. Then we shall start a few new features, like updated class schedules. Next will follow a dedication to our legendary founders, a quick review of other conservatories, and a weekly journal of MAC with sometimes, photos.
Few install problems here, and a few there...

google and M A C... This site is up to a risky challenge: before it has even started, google returns 219,000 pages with words music, art, and conservatory. Add the word barbara, and it comes down to 14,000. At least MAC appears on the first page...

The Santa Barbara Music and Arts Conservatory... (MAC for short hereafter) has had a web site that was elegantly styled, but static in its content. It was pointless to visit it more than once, as it was hardly updated. So the site was unable to support the life of MAC, to reflect its activities and progress or to serve the evolving needs of its faculty, its students, and their families.
Today MAC is opening a new site, which intends to actively track the rhythms of its community. As such the site will remain a work in progress, and will remain fluid in its design and attentive to comments and suggestions.
