In this age of digital, a critical design point is the architecture of systems (socio-economic, technological, political). If everything can become digital (can be represented as a number) then the relation of that thing to other things becomes very abstract. We begin to think in terms of classes and instances, and how they could interact with other classes. And we risk losing track of the fact that we're thinking abstractly about things that affect real people in this real world. This blog is about the architecture of systems.
