October Skies One of the nice things about our condo is that it has a balcony that faces south with an unobstructed view of the sky. I'll be out there tonight watching the total lunar eclipse with my Meade ETX. An eclipse used to be viewed by some primitive cultures as a bad omen. If the Red Sox should lose tonight, does that mean that they'll go on to lose the next three after that? If that happens then there really is a curse. File under Space, The Final Frontier. 8:24:25 PM
