Andy McMullen maintains a .NET FAQ. which could come in handy for those quick answers I need when in the field.
Holy cow! Completely browsable source code to Rotor! via [Sam Gentile's blog].
Now - if I only had the time to read through this kind of stuff!!

Spent the last few hours playing around with Anakrino which is a "better" idlasm which also does a good job of "de-compiling" the .NET source code. A great answer to thos folks at trade shows who say "but I can't see Microsoft's source".
Anakrino Jay Freeman [download from saurik.net] Anakrino is an amazing tool for inspecting IL and seeing it in C# or C++ form. Jay Freeman pretty much wrote it solo. Wow!

Cryptographic interoperability between managed and Native code.
I spent most of last week working on a way to Encrypt code using the standard CAPI of the SDK and then decrypt using the managed framework (and vice versa). I'll post the code for anyone who wants it.
While all of the .NET documentation states that the CRYPTOGRAPHY namespace is basically just a wrapper around the CAPI, you need to understand that certain CAPI capabilities are not included in .NET (i.e. RC4). Also - certain .NET hashing alorithms are not supported in CAPI.
Don't worry though - if you make even the smallest mistake in your code - you get the full error message:
'bad data'.

I've been trying to stay on top of the hype, rumours, and news being released about the 'next' version of Windows. Just when I think I am getting a handle on it all, this type of news announcement is made: Microsoft to skip Longhorn Server Release

I've been trying to get some kind of handle on the rush of information comming in from everywhere so I'll try this!
I'm a developer consultant for Microsoft working in the Field so hopefully - these web based resources should come in handy
