I subscribe to some of these USA Today newsletters (daily briefing tech, travel & books). They provide a good, condensed look at what's going on within their respective genres. In yesterdays tech e-mail, I ran across this Kim Komando column, about more free stuff on the web. And as everybody knows, if it's free... it's for me!!!

Note: Upon further review, alot of these programs are free only for a trial period. Always good to test before you buy though. Of particular interest is the instant messenger program that works with all the major instant messengers (MSN, AOL, Yahoo, ICQ).
