Kevin Respecki's Radio Weblog

I've written about RSS quite a few times on this blog. But RSS is about much more than just using it as a blog reader/feeder. Check out these tips for all the ways you can use RSS (and check out the comments for even more ways). I won't go into what RSS reader to use, that's a personal choice for everyone to make. For a listing of RSS readers, just plug RSS or RSS reader into Google and there will be a load of them to try out. Start with the free one's and see how they suite you. If you want a recommendation of any of the one's I've tried in the past (many, many), just leave a request in comments.
I've written about Ta-da lists in the recent past. Now, from the same developer, comes a much more evolved list maker: Backpack. I haven't tried it yet but it looks intriguing (and free for limited use!).
Have some spare time on your hands and an extra garbage disposal laying around? Well then, why not make up a homemade Margarita Maker? I was going to do it this weekend but drank six beers and promptly forgot about it :(  (via Lifehacker).
I don't know if this flying tip is really all that good? If I was the one with the isle seat I would make the poor SOB suffer in the middle! (but that's just me :)
If you haven't already seen it, Here's the scoops on today's report of a critical Firefox vulnerability. How critical? Who really knows with this stuff? Speaking of web browsers, Opera came out with their v8 a few weeks ago. If you want to try something different than Internet Explorer or Firefox, give Opera a whirl. It's a rock solid browser from what I've heard and seen of it. Plus, you'll be one of the few people using it, and can have a look of smug superiority on your face when people ask what browser you are using :)
