The cold has been tough the last few days at compound 910. It's unfortunate that we have to leave the grounds but can't be helped. The roads in Hamilton and on Route 1 were passable the morning of the snow. But my vehicle - Ford Crown Vic - an old police car purchased on Chambers street in Trenton, doesn't seems too good in the snow. Slides around alot. It almost didn't get me back to 910 last night. It would start fine but wouldn't stay running. If I took my foot off the gas it stalled. I tried this many times and each time it was the same. Just befor getting ready to call AAA, I decided one more try and it then held on. I was really nervous about stalling on Route 1. So I stayed in the right lane. There are spots were a disabled car can't get off the road. I had to get to Wegmans for supplies and to Borders for a couple books. The menu for this weekend at 910 features French beef stew with buttered noodles.
