Left area 910 early this morning and tried a barbershop that recently opened on Arena Drive across from Dairy Queen. I think it's called the Arena Drive Barbershop. They just cut mens hair. And they have a good parking lot. I'm satisfied with the haircut.

A pleasent day at 910. Rain this morning but has now turned to snow. Yesterday's French beef stew was a success. We'll be eating that for the next couple of days.

The cold has been tough the last few days at compound 910. It's unfortunate that we have to leave the grounds but can't be helped. The roads in Hamilton and on Route 1 were passable the morning of the snow. But my vehicle - Ford Crown Vic - an old police car purchased on Chambers street in Trenton, doesn't seems too good in the snow. Slides around alot. It almost didn't get me back to 910 last night. It would start fine but wouldn't stay running. If I took my foot off the gas it stalled. I tried this many times and each time it was the same. Just befor getting ready to call AAA, I decided one more try and it then held on. I was really nervous about stalling on Route 1. So I stayed in the right lane. There are spots were a disabled car can't get off the road. I had to get to Wegmans for supplies and to Borders for a couple books. The menu for this weekend at 910 features French beef stew with buttered noodles.

Stopped at Best Buy in Nassua Park Plaza on Route 1 and a copy of Red Hat Linux 9. Figured it might not be found much longer since Red Hat has gone to Enterprise and Fedora. We have two Linux machines at 910 running RH 8.0 and they should be upgraded. Started one upgrade this evening. Here at 910 we have a mixed network of Win2K and Linux.

Yesterday went to see the film Big Fish. I enjoyed it and would recommend it but found it to be over hyped. Had to go to the AMC theaters on Sloan Ave. because Destinta didn't have it scheduled when i checked through nj.com.

Returned to 910 this evening with take-out from Palace of Asia. Excellent Indian restaurant on Quakerbridge road. The lamb vindaloo is my favorite. This placed used to be at Mercer Mall on Route 1. I would stop a couple of times a month. One day I went there and it was replaced by a Hooters.

It's a slow Sunday at 910. Haven't left the compound. Spending time reading and programming. Worked on a xml DTD and Schema. Then did the dishes. Another sunny day out but only 21 degrees. Warmer than yesterday.

Not much happening at 910 today. It's a bright, sunny day but only 10 degrees outside. No plans to venture out. We're well stocked with food and smokes. Have to run the heater more than I like. Huge crows are hanging out next store. There was a funeral across the street. Nothing to do but work on .NET while listing to WXPN. Stir-fry is on the menu for tonight.
