Probably the best trance dj on this side of the galaxy is Paul Van Dyk. Every year at Mayday he turns the Westfallen Hallen into a true armageddon, not one soul stands still. It is truely an experience of a lifetime and one that is impossible to explain to those who have never been there. He's also a great remixer and composer. "The art of the remix lies in the perspective of the remix artist." Perspective is a collection of remixes made by Paul Van Dyk from 1992 till 1997. Included are remixes of some of his own music (The Visions of Shiva, Joe T. Vanelli and some things from Seven Ways), but also remixes from other artists, like BT.
Even if you're not a collector of Paul Van Dyk's music, this is a definit must get if you're into trance music. This album is also available under the name "Vorsprüng Dyk Technology", which is a three cd-set, it has some additional mixes and a mixed cd.
