Uninvited Guest (by ACN)

Her heart was pounding, she was sure she had just seen the doorknob turn. Ten year old Abby laid on her bed with her kitten Snowball. Abby wondered what she had just seen. Snowball got up to see what the noise was.

At school the next day Abby told her best friend Lily about what happened. Lily was the only one who believed Abby. Lily had a great idea that she would sleep over at Abby's house and find out who had turned the doorknob. After school Lily came over. Just then they saw the doorknob turn. It was just Abby's mom telling them that it was time for dinner. After dinner, they got ready and then they went to bed. They laid in bed and saw the doorknob turn. Snowball got up and Abby and Lily were silent. Then the door creaked open but nothing was in sight. They both were very scared.

The next day Lily came over and they opened the attic thinking the ghost would go in there. They made a trap in the attic that night. Snowball was acting very strange and Abby wondered what was wrong until she saw her room. Abby and Lily were shocked at the mess in Abby's room. They wondered if the ghost had been chasing Snowball. That night when they went to bed they set the trap in the attic and the ghosts were never seen or heard from again.
