Normally I am a total tomboy..don't like to wear pantyhose..prefer jeans and t-shirts to dresses and heels..would walk around barefoot 24/7 if I could get away with it and never ever would have gotten my eyebrows waxed...and usually thinks its weird that women have to go get their eyebrows done or their fingernails filled in or someone to do their color change, etc..just not for me....
but today I got my eyebrows waxed and I love the look. I bought pantyhose and lingerie...and it dawned on..I'm really one of those girls..it was buried deep deep inside me..in total denial but it finally surfaced...although shopping is still not me..hate it..

These 12 hours days seem to be getting longer and longer..and I was looking forward to a nice relaxing cuddly fun evening...oh well, might get that tomorrow..
I finally found a site with a workplace cleansing spell..perfect...non-negative answer..the site itself it really cool too..
I just realized I miss writing about normal things...unrelated to work things..my poetry, my stories...
but i have a goal...this weekend..get all the strange piles of paper off my desk once and for all...I thought I had finally done that and then I realized I just stuck the piles behind me..so tomorrow - I'm going to finish it all, get caught up and then find time to write, paint, finish the bathroom on Sunday and during the holiday...will catch up with everyone hopefully by Sunday...

I just read this interesting blog post called the The Pussification Of The Western Male and my only comment to this..there is a reason he is on his third marriage..
We have not become a nation of women..but as a women I want equal rights, the same as these so called "real men" These so called "real men" are they the ones that have left their families..whereas single moms become the norm?
You don't have to buy the self-help books, there are plenty of "real men" books out there but then again "real men" maybe don't look for them. I'll take a man that understands a woman anyday of the week over a "real man"
And where do you figure that America is a culture run by women? As far I can tell, its still ruled by men..when we finally get a women president in office or maybe a black women in office..maybe then, it will start to be a culture run by women or anything other than a nation of men.
Hell, I just read the article..I wasn't going to debate it..but really if you got to know some of these women that you are against..some of us like power tools, self-defense, politics etc.. why can't there be an equality to the nation, the culture..why does it always come back to the "real men" who think they are threatened by women. Are these so called "real men" threatened by the equality of the nation, by powerful women?

Rhye from the discussion board hit it on the nose with a instruction guideline for anyone posting a question on the discussion board which I think should be the header of the discussion board title:
DISCUSSION GROUP: If you can please provide your Blog URL, what you were doing at the time before you had problems, if any. Let us know if you have a PC or a MAC and what OS do you have? What browser are you using? Providing as much information helps in trying to figure out what the problem may be
This would help so many of us volunteers and probably the tech support at Userland start troubleshooting or answering the questions that are posted to the board..instead of having to ask what is your blog URL constantly..and up front to know if the person I'm trying to help is a MAC user and not a PC user..I can tailor my answers a little better.. I'm emailing Lawrence and Jake with the idea..thanks Rhye!!
I just found another spot this is located but in my opinion its just a little obscure...

I was watching the American Music Awards..ok I was flipping through channels because Alias wasn't on tonight but I saw a performance of Metallic live and it struck me..Kirk Hammett and Jake look strikingly alike..both very similar traits..height, hair color, long and curly (one of my personal favorites), personal status(attached - too bad) and both very cute, both musicians, both similar smiles...just an opinion..but interesting notice...

I had a funky week..weird dreams about people I haven't seen in 20 years or more. Meetings upon meetings upon meetings..management is harder than it looks, meetings take alot of time and at the end of the day, I can't figure out what the hell I did all day. Thank you to the anonymous commenter for helping me with WIP..I get it now and my accountant says its perfect. So in the midst of all these weird funky things happening, I was pouring myself coffee one morning (middle of the week)..a little sugar and some vanilla and this is what I saw at the bottom of my cup before I poured in the coffee...defintely some kind of sign I think - I had to take a picture, didn't know if anyone would believe me or not..and not something I could make up..gotta love camera phones..

and this weekend I finally got some me time...spa in the morning, nap in the afternoon and finally getting my house in order..cleaned, dishes, laundry and blog...bills tomorrow..finishing bathroom tomorrow and will finally finish the bathroom saga...i think I'm finally me again...and finally over the flu.

interesting find..I was trying to figure out how to add colors to my comments or when I insert a comment into my comments..its all code - let me explain, the comments box is basically a WYSIWYG comment box without the text formatting options, in order to change the color of the comment text you have to insert the html code such as <FONT color=blue> and </FONT> before and after the text in order for the text to change colors..when you submit, then it populates the code into the comment box
now why this never dawned on me before..guess I had no reason to try it..but very interesting..
for example: inside the comment box, you can add quotes normally and it understands the code but in order to add the text colors..you'd have to submit the comment code as follows:
"I asked the UK team but they seem incredibly unwilling to share this information with us,..."
My guess is they're trying to cover the fact that they don't actually know.
<P><FONT color=#6c49b6>Yep, they don't really know. From what I've heard, they are under a lot of pressure to get this up and running and have never done a major conversion before</FONT></P>
and then it looks like this:
"I asked the UK team but they seem incredibly unwilling to share this information with us,..."
My guess is they're trying to cover the fact that they don't actually know.
Yep, they don't really know. From what I've heard, they are under a lot of pressure to get this up and running and have never done a major conversion before

i've searched high and low for this with no luck...so I'm hoping that maybe someone can point me in the right direct....my company will eventually be implementing this IBS/ASW Software - Global Enterprise Package and after talking to the implementation team in the UK today, I have many many questions but mainly I want to know what is the backend of this software, what is the programming language? however I've had no luck searching for it. I'm probably the one that is going to have to understand it the most since I have the database programming experience and no one else does (not even the IT guy...that is on his way out). I asked the UK team but they seem incredibly unwilling to share this information with us, we've asked for a sample company to check it out - which seems to be hard to get to us for some reason. The idea of importing our data into this system seems to be complicated for them..I do not want to key in manually 500 inventory items, there has to be a way to import the data but I think that they just don't understand the programming language behind the software..just an opinion but clearly they are in over their heads and no way am I implementing a system that I don't understand or have never seen...so back to the original problem..
can anyone help me find any info on this system software? (thanks in advance)

Either my life has become completely boring or I'm working way way too much..the only thing I've been writing about it WIP calculations..ugh :)
on that note..something interesting did happen on Friday..this guy came into work to sell frozen meat..gorgeous guy, lead singer in a hard rock band..goregous green eyes, long hair, great body..and I'm a space..I told him I only had money left this week for a massage and not any meat..he said he'd give me the massage and I could buy the meat..and I turned him down..I'm a space and I don't eat steak or chicken that much and I don't know how to cook lobster...although he'll be back on Friday which is payday...I think I'll ask if a cooking lesson comes with that lobster and for a massage, I'll buy some lobster...I'm a total space...I didn't even realize he was flirting with me til he left..I've been working way too hard..someone hit me over the head next time *grin*
and I so need a t-shirt that says "i'm blogging this" sexymagick.com...no one at work will know what it means..hmmm..maybe I'll go get one before I head off to work today

followup to my post on WIP: does this make sense then?
my company bills a 25% deposit invoice which is when we buy the raw materials
then we bill a 25% progressive invoice - this is when the production/direct labor/WIP should be calculated (correct)?
then we bill the remaining 50% upon shipment - and this is when I should calculate the finished goods
therefore I would (is this correct?)

Raw Materials |
WIP |
Direct Labor |
Finished Goods |
| at 50% completion (progressive invoice is sent) |

help...i have somewhat of an idea how it should be calculated...but have no clue if I'm right.. so here is what I get
Raw Materials - Materials (this is a cost of goods)
Building the finished goods from the raw materials and the labor associated is - Work In Progress(WIP)
Finished Goods - this becomes an Inventory Asset
But how do you calculate the WIP?

This morning I was in the gas station, stopping to buy cigarettes, totally in my own little world..thinking of things I had to do when I got to the office and things I needed to do when I had a few moments of time for myself, innocently standing in line, when all of a sudden this large women starting talking to me about her low tire and how she had gone to three gas stations..first one, air hose was out of order; second one, you had to pay for it; this one, you had to have it activated for you. Then she started to tell me how her tire always felt and looked low but it never was really low and she wasn't sure if it really was low. And it struck me, some people must not have anyone to talk to often because here she was telling me about this low tire, I doubt she realized that one I didn't really care about her tire, I didn't know her and I was somewhere else in my mind. I'm not trying to sound mean by either her description or that I didn't care..but it was just an odd moment in time where I realized that I'm not really lonely..just a loner. I have people to talk to and I don't strike up odd conversations with strangers in order to just have someone to talk to. But I guess there are people out there, that have no one to talk to and strike up odd conversations with complete strangers. Also I wonder if I look like someone that is willing to listen to them.

testing again..several people on the discussion board expressed an interest in the Soundwaves Purple Theme which was only a Manilla theme until now. With a little help from Rhye from Just Around the Bend and Tweezerman, I was able to modify the Soundwaves Blue Theme to become the Soundwaves Purple Theme for Radio Users..hopefully, this works and doesn't screw up my current theme....it worked!!!!(although I'm thinking I like the purple theme much better...except I'm going to have to put all my links back in....so for now, I'm sticking with my sexy magick theme.....)
The test is completed and if you are interested in the soundwaves purple theme for your theme...you can download it from this link - its the one called soundwavespurpleradio.fttb, do a right click and save as to your themes folder...it should work..let me know if you have problems with it..by default, the comments are not enabled or included, neither is trackback..and hopefully the permalink icons have defaulted back to default.
*note - this Soundwaves Purple theme is based on Bryan Bell's Soundwaves Blue for Radio Theme*

couple of quick notes before I head off to bed...being sick and all, going to bed early for once....
first thing...I love this new purple soundwaves theme for my desktop template...the final version to share with others will be completed soon..hopefully by this weekend.
second thing...when you finally give up on a potential friendship...some how it seems they still care...."j" thanks for helping me today and answering my questions..I honestly didn't think you would answer me that it would be just another email out there in the cloud going unanswered..thanks for understanding my scattered thoughts..you are one of the few who gets what I'm saying in a scattered way..or who can make sense of my scattered pattern of thought. I still think that there could be a beautiful friendship between us..only in time and some day in the future..I'd had almost given up..and if I bug you in the future about the same issue, i'd rather talk to you...i trust you and don't particularly understand "l" thought patterns :)

Helping on the discussion board, you meet all kinds of new people, some you'd like to keep in contact with and some whom you'd probably never want contact with again especially if it becomes the discussion board thread from hell that Lisa and Tweezerman experienced. But there are some you'd call friends the ones that are grateful for the help...and these are the ones that you want to keep helping. Such as Martin, who gave me this great link for the kisstrail script. Or Alyssa, who I know I haven't been able to help much since she has a Mac and I don't. Or Rhye, she's a newbie too but is getting out there, trying to help...these are the newbie bloggers that help me keep going back to help out on the discussion board..
Martin, thanks for the kisstrail script..super cool and love it...think I'm going to use it on the sexymagick category for now...

this is frustrating...how the hell do you get the navigator links to left align on a category page? The default on the main page is <div align="center" class="small"><b><%item%></b></div> but where do you put this code in a category?
I'm been trying to help on the radio discussion board but I can't figure it out. Any ideas??
