Apparently - this does not work...do not try this...I'll figure out a work around eventually - doesn't link to the calendar correctly

I'm sure there are easier ways to do this...but this is the simplest way to create a post-dated entry into your blog without having to understand the macro or how to open the weblogdata.root

in the www folder open the 2003 folder then the month of the folder you want to create a file for...example

www folder
2003 folder
02 folder (feb)

copy one of the current files or just create a text file using notepad with this information:

#flHomePage true
#flArchivePage true
#archiveDate "2003/02/05"
<%radio.macros.viewWeblog ()%>

change the #archivedate to the date you want to have the post-dated entry in and and save as the day of the month (ie..05)

with the radio app open, go to the date of the file you just saved on your blog..by entering this in the browser:

http://127.0.0.1:5335/2003/02/05  or whatever date it is that you created..and you can edit the page, add a post, etc.. then post changes

This is the third step in adding link to a graphic, follow the steps to add a graphic into your blog, then inserting the graphic above/under your navigator link macro, then you'll want to add a link before and after your <img src= xxxxxxx >

The link is shown below in pink and the image source is shown in darkblue

 <A href="http://radio.weblogs.com/0119318/"> <IMG src="http://radio.weblogs.com/0119318/Screenshots/rose.jpg"></A>

The above picture/graphic links back to my home page..

test..lets see if I figured out how to put graphics into the navigator links

nope - I can link to a picture...lets try again

<A HREF="http://www.colinchanner.com/"><img alt="Waitng In Vain by Colin Channer" src=" http://radio.weblogs.com/0120809/myImages/colin.jpg"/></A>

still nothing..only see the link for a picture...hmmm

I've done this at work before..will try again tonight..need my notes :)

ok..I've added the whole link above..lets see what happens, nope didn't work

next step..add the picture under the navigator links in the template itself...hmm..

it worked!!! well at least getting the picture under the navigator link

find your navigator link macro in your home page template and then add your picture source code...should look like this once you've added your picture source code..(i'll add a newbie tip tommorrow)

<%navigatorLinks%>
  <hr size="1">

<div align="center">

<A HREF="http://www.colinchanner.com/"><img alt="Waitng In Vain by Colin Channer" src=" http://radio.weblogs.com/0120809/myImages/colin.jpg"/></A> </div>

test....figure out to get "quotes" into the title

looks like I can't edit my title because it has completely disappeared out of the title box which is weird...let's see if this work

<font color="#0000FF">&quot;this is only a test&quot;</font>

well I can see my title at least using the html tag & quot; text & quot; but does it stay and can I edit later..nope, still disappearing with the html tags..very weird...defintely a bug

before editing: it looks like this:

after editing...you'll see it here now above....and where did the underlining come from?

I can't figure out how to include the navigator links inside blogrolls but did figure out how edit the navigator links inside the Radio app..more room to see what I'm doing and also how to have a blogroll and the navigator link on the same page

...this is an example of a blogroll and navigator links on the same page
